    Hi all,

Wiggle having a decent sale on at present. Couple felt bikes there for around 5-600 which look good.

Question is has anyone bought a bike off them. Is much setup required?

I assume a lbs wouldn't touch a bike bought from wiggle, so if you have problems you are on your own.

Was looking at a focus bike last week for 900. Nice bike but similarly specced to the felt. Might go for it but looking for assurance from you guys!

I don't see why a bike shop would turn away business. Obviously don't go into you lbs and get sized to a bike then head off and buy it online only to return for a fitting.

There shouldn't be much involved in setting it up it's usually a matter of bolting on bars and wheels and off you go.

I'd invest in a fitting though if it's your first bike.

I don't mean that they wouldn't service etc. But if you had problems initially with set up they may be reluctant to assist.

Its not my first bike, I did get measured in.my lbs for the focus. Also wiggle take your measurements before sending the bike.

Really looking for anyone who got a bike from them and their experiences.

No, they won't. The will just charge you to do it, whereas if you had bought the bike from them they might be more willing to do adjustments for free. If you feel uncomfortable with that or you were hoping they might help you for free, I'd suggest paying the premium and buying the bike off them.

I bought a Felt Dispatch many years ago from wiggle. Arrived in a big box. Turn handlebars, attach pedals, dial in your settings and off you go.

Getting a bike from Wiggle worked okay for me. You have a tiny bit of assembly that is all. If you feel confident doing that work away as excelellent service.

of course any adjustments from a shop tgen you should expect to pay for labour.

That's no problem. Happy doing assembly. Also have no issue bringing to a bike shop and paying.

Was just wondering about peoples experience with wiggle. They have a great selection and a good sale at moment on last years models.

Think I will give them a go.

I bought the felt f85 from wiggle a couple of weeks ago

First time putting a bike together and it only took me roughly 45 mins to get everything the way I liked it with regards to sizing etc.

The gears could be a lot smoother in shifting so I'm planning on bringing it to a LBS in a couple of weeks to get the spokes tightened and gears properly set up

I could find any bike shop in Ireland that could offer that much bike for that price, the delivery was very quick too, i'd definitely buy from them again

Nice 1. What do you think if the felt bike? Thinking of getting one also.

I bought a Felt Z4 from Wiggle this time last year when they were selling off the 2013 models. Great value and service from wiggle and still love riding the Felt

Big fan of it, it's my first road bike so i'm not sure if the saddle could be more forgiving or i'm just not used to it

it's a nice ride though, quicker than i was expecting, plenty of gears to get up the hills and i've already been complimented on how good it looks

as I said, gears could be a bit smoother, but it just needs to be set up properly

Whats the normal delivery time from Wiggle?

Website says 6 working days but I am hoping that they are bumping that up to cover themselves

Usually about 3-4 days in.my experience for accessories. When I bought a bike I think it took the 6days nearly. You can track it online so as you know.
