Had a quick look for a previous thread, couldn't find one.

Anyways, what are your experiences with having your teeth whitened?

My sister had them whitened with bleach peroxide and was given the gum mould and syringes to use at home.

She hated it, said it's an awful experience and tastes awful and made her teeth painfully sensitive.

Now, I've also heard about laser whitening...

Just wondering if people could give me their experiences please.

My dentist told me that Zoom whitening has been banned across Europe, so not sure if thats now an option at all.

Sounds like she pumped too much of the whitening fluid into the mould. I used that method and the only time I tasted anything was in the few seconds in the morning between taking out the moulds and rinsing.

I don't know what the fluid in my treatment was, did your sister get the mould made from a cast made by a regular dentist?
