    Looking at one of these next week ,do they have any major issues ? Does anyone have one mpg etc. Thanks peoples:)

    Is the astra j 1.4 turbo?

    Not had one but lad I know up north is well impressed by his one. Good all rounder by all accounts. (decent mpg, oomf etc)

    If it the astra h (04-10), there bit lacking in oomf, mpg etc. Good for nipping around town but on long journeys I found them thirsty from my experience.

    My gf had one until last year (when an idiot driver ran into her and it was written off). It was a great car. Just make sure that you buy a genuine car that has been properly serviced and generally well looked-after. We searched for months for a replacement but finally gave up and bought a new-model 2010 Astra. (Having said that she wanted a specific colour Astra H, which narrowed down her chances of getting a good one!).
