Self publishing art book, anyone printed in China?

    I can see that mainstream publishers print art colour books in China.
    Has anyone here ever got short runs (say 500-1000) of full colour books done in China, and what was the experience like?

    Hey I have thought about doing this in thailand or something.

    Because it would be cheap to self publish there.
