I'm changing the alternator on a 1999 Mazda 323f hatchback.
I have it off but I can't remove it as there doesn't seem to be room to take it out anywhere.

Just wondering has anyone done it and is there a way to get it out.
From what I can see it looks like the manifold has to come off.

Told someone I'd change the alternator for them as a favour, didn't realise it would be this much hassle.:o
