    Well

I have a limousin x incalf heifer, calving down in February at 2 year of age.
I have noticed in the last month a series of wart clusters growing on her udder.
Can this be a problem for her?, will they go away themselves?, if not what can I treat her with or does she need vet assistance.

    Thanks all

Milk cows at home an usually put olive oil on them for every milking for a week or two, and they soften and fall off, which obviously won't work with a suckler heifer.

But a calf suckling should knock them off, when she is calved, as long as there not sore.

We had one 20 years ago with multiple warts around the udder, teats, even her belly. We soaked light twine in detol and tied it at the base of them to cut off blood supply. In a matter of weeks they all dropped off and didnt reaccur
