    This week I saw what at first glance looked like a very large thrush in the back garden, only it wasn't it was a small bird of pray. It was more of a golden colour than dark brown and its chest looked speckled rather than banded. Curious as to what it was? It flew off as it was being dive bombed by some very brave magpies.

    Maybe take a look at pictures of a Sparrowhawk and a Kestrel and see which one it looks most like?

    Thanks looked at some pictures and it would seem to be a kestrel
