I am looking for some software to convert movies to a format that will play on a cheap dvd player, I have movies that are avi, mp4, mkv and I want to be able to convert them to dvd format and save them on my computer in that format so I can make a copy of it whenever I want. Im also looking for a good software to burn…

Im also looking for a good software to burn movies to a disk fairly quick, I dont mind if I have to buy them once they work and dont take forever to do.

DVDFlick is a good freebie. conversion/encoding time will all boil down to how good a CPU is in your computer. Some programmes may be quicker but don't expect it to be a 5 minute job for long videos!
