    Hi,
    I got an update this morning, the GDR3 update, which, after checking, i see was released last year! I know Samsung have started finally releasing the 8.1 update in Asia i think, but does anyone know the timescale between the gdr3 update and the 8.1 update. Am i going to be waiting another year for it?! Is it too late to install 8.1 with the dev preview.
    Normally it wouldn't bother me but after seeing 8.1 running on a friends Lumia phone, I've gotten impatient

    Oopsie never mind, updating to 8.1 right now. Yay :D

    You should get Windows Phone 8.1 Update (aka Update 1) before the end of the year as well - it adds folders to the Start screen :)
