Was out late last night at foxes, me n the buddy got 3.
As a result I wasn't up early for the open day of the shooting season, actually I don't shoot pheasants in general. Instead I opened my season this morning at half 8 with a grey crow

. Got him with a 7 cartridge, top of a big pine tree not far from the farm yard. Happy out

Back out the hot shower, god tis a wet evening.. Protecting nature on opening day..lots of birds met and missed great to be out no matter the weather.. Finshed with two cocks and a teal..well its now a day for day for ducks with all the rain..hope everyone got more memories and opening day stories for the pub..me I could of made a few Specssavers adds today..

Got out this morning for a couple of hours, weather was great, heard plenty of cocks but only met the one. The crafty old fecker rose and flew straight up into an ivy tree and sat looking at me and there he stayed, good luck to him. Plenty more days to come.

Me and a mate were out this morning. I shot 2 cocks and missed 2 and my shooting buddy got a left an a right on 2 lovely mallard. My lab caught a snow white cock. Pleny about all in all a great day.
