Right so, i was parked on the prom and 2 cars passed the first car pulled onto the wrong side of the road and swung into the car park nearly hitting the car behind it.. So my friend was parked across from me, Few spaces down, I pulled out at the same time he did, So i stopped to ask him where he was going, He didn't stop and went around the back of my car, As it was a little over the white line due to me pulling out, I only stopped as their was no cars coming at all.. So i drove down the road to turn around and follow my friend and the gaurds come up and pull me over and start giving out saying i nearly caused a crash and all this but yet i didn't, And my friend just went around the back of my car and the gaurd tried to tell me he nearly hit my car.. And got a fine in the door 2 weeks later saying i was driving without due care and attention.. Can somebody enlighten me on what to do as i feel hard done by here

    Thanks

I totally understand that. I'd be willing to go to court and explain to the judge.

Was it a bend and continuous white line and had you made an illegal u turn.

They must have seen you do something quite bad for to give a ticket.

Based on the bolded bit this is a manoeuvre that sounds like it may well have been risky.

Based on the underlined bit, it too sounds as if it could have been risky. It's unclear if this was you or another car which made it.

Not saying it was risky but, you know....

If I were you, I'd pay the fine and save yourself the lottery of a cracky judge.

Get a solicitor go to court argue your case, but be prepared to pay more either way. As in pay your solicitors fees and either get off or get an even higher fine and possibly more points and possibly a higher insurance premium.
