    It's a puff piece based on a "survey" by a private company with a vested interest in talking up the market. Not surprised this story hasn't gotten a lot of attention: it isn't a story, it's more of a press release.

    Yes agree this is another non-story from estate agents putting a "report" out there. Surely their data is from asking prices as not saying anything about selling price, huge difference for a report. Also relying on anecdotal reports from agents about the market who obviously are biased.

    Article can be summarised as "Prices are up but there is loads of supply so why not buy/sell now?"

    Yup. I think the articles main message is;
    “We are also seeing investors being influenced by the end of December deadline for obtaining capital gas tax relief over the next seven years,”
