SaxoBank new fee structure (Jan. 1st)

I just received an email from saxo stating that they were changing their fee structure from the new year. Taking a look on their website, what really stands out is a new custody fee.
For accounts with stock, ETFs/ETCs or bond positions a custody fee of 0.12% p.a. with a monthly minimum fee of EUR 5.00 will apply.

This combined with the inactivity fee introduced last year makes saxo really unattractive for long term buy and hold. Does anyone have any suggestions as to other providers that might be less restrictive when it comes to this type of investment strategy?
