    Hi there,
Quick question- can an architectural technician prepare a declaration of identity and other associated documents- land registry maps, etc- for someone selling a house? My cousin says he knows someone who can, but I would have thought that they would have to be an architect?

Yes. An architectural technician can do both of those things. It is however advisable for them to have professional indemnity insurance. Acceptance of such documents is at the discretion of the solicitors handling the sale, so it might be wise to discuss with them first.
