    You have to hand it to the god folk with their reset button on the guilt machine.
    Act like a complete c-unit for 8 weeks, go in & mumble to the guy who mumbles backs, recite a few poems repeatedly & you're cleansed with a complete clean slate.

    With atheism I have to resort to drink to forget what I wanker I've been & when I wake up in the morning I'm still a wanker.

    God folk played a blinder here, top respect.

    Why not just make an effort to show'em some sort decency to the people you've treated badly and apologise or do something for them?

    Fúcking off for a bit of comfort from someone completely unrelated to your wankathon doesn't really absolve you of being a wanker in the first place.

    Just go and use the catholic confession. Its not like you need to show catholic id and the belief thing is fairly optional even amongst catholics

    All religion stinks but people are free to follow it if they want as long as they're not harming anyone. It's the religious fanatics that are annoying and there's plenty of them among the various religions be it Muslim, Athiest, Christian or whatever.

    I agree. AH should have a stickied confessions thread. We need to nominate a few priests, possibly a cardinal and a few altar boys. Alter boys go in the confession box with the priest dont they?
