Post early in the day for next day delivery. An Post has a 95% next day delivery rate currently. Within Ireland, of course.

If it's important though you could always express it.

It should get there next day. Going through Portlaoise Mail Centre. But the only way to be 100% safe is to express.

    You misquoted me. I'm telling.

My experience has been that sending it express is a sure way to lose it. Normal post is more reliable.

Fairly limited experience granted, I posted a very urgent letter to Dublin and three days later they were still trying to find it, apparently it went to the opposite side of Dublin and had to be rescued by taxi or something. Never had that happen with normal post.

Find out what time the collection is, it will not go any earlier than the first collection. Which in Offaly is likely to be around 5.30, but you need to ask.

Usually the post boxes have the collection times written on them(I think mine is 3pm or something). I'd say bring it into a post office as soon as possible and use express post just in case.

    ^^ After reading that post..or not :p

Why didn't you give Offaly a capital 'O'? That's the real issue here. Do you not respect Offaly as much as you do Limerick? Is that what it is, Dmitri?

Imagine the fun to be had if we could get women pregnant by sending them an innocent looking text message but with a hidden payload attached.
