    Hi guys,

I have a close friend whose teen (she is under 18 but nearing to the adult age lets just say) is refusing to go into care, with the involvement of social workers. This child is causing issues at the home.

Do the Guards need a warrant to essentially 'force' her to go to the home? / bring her into care, if she continues to refuse to go?

Your friend needs to seek legal advice on this issue. Which we cannot give here. Please tell her to contact FLAC.ie or Citizens Information.
