Samsung UE40H6200AWXXN Text on RTE?

    I bought this TV earlier this year. I have never been able to get the text to work on the digital channels. Should this TV be capable of receiving digital text? Also, and probably related, during initial install the only country I can choose is the Netherlands. Ta....

    Where did you buy the TV?

    The last letter in the model no. indicates the country the TV was manufactured for, in this case I assume N indicates the Netherlands. The Irish/UK models end in the letter U.

    Only the UK and Ireland use MHEG-5 software for interactive services such as digital text so I assume if this is for the Dutch market only with no option to change the install country then MHEG-5 is disabled.
