Muck boots are great. I have a pair of extreme cold weather. As in any foot gear, you will get cold if you are just standing around, especially if your feet sweat, then you remain inactive. Wick socks work great w/ a pair of woolies over them, but everything has its limitations.
I have found the Mucks to be very comfortable, w/ great foot support.

Just buy them. Great pair of boots, best on the market imo, had a pair of Wetland, they were great for walking, fishing, hunting, loved them. Unfortunately they I managed to lose them but will definitely be getting another when my Hunters wear out.

For moderate terrain they are fine. I suppose it depends on how hard you hit it, though.

you wont find a more comfortable boot for walking,if you do a lot of roughshooting they wont last had a pair were leeking up the sides after 2 months, hunting 3 days a week.

I have a pair of them original ones for a year or so and they are comfortable, but I would only recommend them for a duck pond. If the ground or terrain you hunt/walk is slippy then they are lethal!! I landed on my arse once and never wore them since! Got the father a pair aswell for around the farm and he said the same especially on wet concrete.
