The sale isn't limited to scary/Halloween-type titles either. Plenty on offer from a wide range of genres!

I've been itching for Transistor, but I don't think I can justify buying it just yet, haven't even played Bastion :eek:

Honestly, the whole UI change thing has really put me off, it's just a list. Normally I'd be all OMG, look at all these wonderful highlights! But nope.

Some good things alright, but such a mess to navigate

Unfortunately two ones I'd be interested in: Gaunlet and Gabriel Knight are not present. If there is any bellweather for spooky games the latter would be it.

Game is not in a great state at the moment. Fairly broken in many ways. If i was you i would buy Arma 2 complete and play the mod. Pick up DayZ standalone down the road. Its not going up in price anytime soon imo,its to broken. But if you have your heart set on getting it the most ive seen off on Steam is 15%,so would say g2a is probably a better bet if your comfortable buying from there.

Spot on. Scrolling through the list gets boring and annoying. They need better layout fo sales, something like they had before!

Still have to see the layout for a proper sale since they changed things. This sale is just like the weeklong sales.

But overall, I don't like the new UI anyway.

I've spent way too much on games lately, so i won't be buying anything in this sale. I agree about the UI change as well...just doesn't grab you like it used to.

That is just the BEST game, so much fun, try and get a friend a play co-op if you have PC MP functionality

Great game. The unofficial patch is worth a look. It fixes some of the bugs and the as is copy can have issues running on w7/8.

Don't forget the unofficial patch, fixes a lot of the bugs and restores parts of the game that were never finished on release

This wasn't a 'real' Steam Sale, imo. A much more subdued affair to recognise Halloween with some discounts. I reckon Valve are conscious of over-saturating the platform with too many sales as that would reduce the effect of a Steam Sale.

The Christmas sale be a much more full-on event.
