Car rattling on acceleration

2000 Ford Fiesta 1.25L Oil is fine, Coolant recently topped up, everything else in engine seems ok. Car has been rattling when I accelerate for a month or so now. 2000 Ford Fiesta 1.25L
Oil is fine, Coolant recently topped up, everything else in engine seems ok.

Car has been rattling when I accelerate for a month or so now. Whole car is shaking, seems to be the engine or something.
Its not coming from the wheels and steering is fine. When I let my foot off the accellerator the rattling stops.

Car only seems to be doing this above 50km/h. No strange sounds or clicks coming from the engine.

could this be my timing belt? Hoping not :eek:

Had that on a fiesta myself. Examine your springs very carefully especially the last 6 " of each on both ends. The balance of the car on the move takes pressure off and the broken bit rattles around. The broken bit is jammed in when stopped.
