The dial on our washing machine is damaged cosmetically (the dog chewed it when he was a pup  ), I was just quoted €15 for a replacement, which although not much, is more than I'd like to spend. Any tips for repairing teeth marks on plastic? Would filing/sanding work?

I should have said if the dog is still eating everything best wait till he grows out of it. You might get the dial a little cheaper online

Maybe filler like linseed putty or the stuff they use to fill scratches on cars and spraypaint white, ALDI sometimes have a white epoxy spray paint in, but after the cost of materials and the likelyhood the resulting job won't look great, you might as well buy the new one. Unless you personally like the challenge, I know I would.

Edit: Oops, linseed oil putty is wood only!

An absolute waste of time in this instance, particularly for the money involved.
