DID PS3 Ex-display

    They currently have an ex display model for 230. It comes with a 1 year warranty too. I've never heard of anybody having issues with ex-siplays models from there. The next cheapest is Currys for 260 if you want a brand new one. :)

    Hardly a bargain. Effectively this is a 2nd hand console with a year's warranty - same as buying a pre-owned Ps3 from CEX, Gamestop, HMV - etc. Some of those places offer better prices too.

    Its a 500gb. Sorry should have mentioned that.

    its effectively a 2nd hand model, one thats probably seen far more hours than any ps3 you'd buy off adverts.

    I'e be much more reluctant to but off advert TBH. Guess it depends on how you feel about ex-display models.

    I got a PS4 with a few games on adverts for 320 euros. So personally I'd advise looking on adverts for deals...

    You could throw in a bigger hard drive into the 12gb jobbie, right? Might be less than the 80 euros difference. Might be, dunno for sure.

    Gamestop sell the preowned 500GB Ps3 for €230, also with 12 month warranty.

    CEX sell the preowned 500GB Ps3 for €180, with 12 month warranty.

    They sell it for €185 boxed, pre-owned.

    Game.co.uk sell pre-owned 500Gb Ps3 for €170.

    Amazon are selling brand new ps3s for 190EUR, you can just buy a larger hard drive and insert it yourself.

    2nd hand PS4s are only 100 euro more!

    I got one for around 150 euro on amazon a while back.

    No way is that a bargain.
    Your average second hand console could be on for what, a few hours a day perhaps? An ex-display model would be on hours on end for ages. Day in and out.
