JSA help please

Hi I know this has been asked to death here but I could really do with some advice. I'm working on a contract earning a fair amount but not enough to support the both of us, as I commute from Tipperary to Waterford daily. My bf is currently applying for JSA as his own contract ended about a week ago. He went in for his forms today and we were noted as cohabiting, will this affect his claim?
I literally give him no money except for bills. We even pay what we owe each in rent out of our own bank accounts. Whatever we want, we get it ourselves, food included!
Is he going to get anything to help him?

Find your means from your employment and subtract that from €312 if there is a answer (not a minus figure) that's what he should get.

I assume its all calculated before tax is taken out of my wages?

Take out prsi,union dues,pension but you have to leave in paye
