A moto x can be got for €320 at the moment from the uk so hopefully it'll be in the 4-500e range. That way they'll be undercutting the nexus 6 aswell.

It's awesome phone, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Lovely device... but aaagh! Dem buttons?

Hope the global model has virtual buttons, like Moto X, N6, Moto G etc. Those capacitive buttons on Droid Turbo ruin it.
Lollipop and its new style navbar buttons are on the brink of release and Droid Turbo gets lumped with immutable capacitive buttons that make it look like it runs ICS. WTH is the deal with Verizon, are they completely mad?

Good point, if not on screen buttons they should definitely go with the new lollipop style buttons.

Definitely interested in this, first phone to really interest me since i got my Nexus 5 on launch. So glad theres an international version the droid turbo ticked all the boxes for me bar not being a Nexus :D

Capacitative buttons a plus, IMHO. Saves screen real estate, couldn't care less about Google's aesthetic preferences.

Will buy a Moto Maxx on sight.

I like this, the bezels look tiny. I don't really want a phone any bigger than my N4 so the same size with more screen would be perfect.

I hate how their networks brand their phones, looks so hideous imo.

Greats specs, fairly ugly though. Both specs and design could change on the international version. Wonder if the X might get a permanent price cut ?

You would expect Moto to price this around €600 absolutely no reason to undercut the N6.

Yeah id err on the side of believe it when i see it.

There is just so much conflict with the Moto X 2014, The Nexus 6. I am not sure we would be lucky enough to get a global version of this.

It has it all, pretty much ticks every single box. If the Hard buttons are all that people have to complain on that is amazing. My HTC One has them and jesus i could live with it based on all the other specs.

Not sure it will come to fruition though at all.

It would certainly hollow out demand for the X'14 and the N6, alright. Can't be giving customers what they actually want!

only thing im not liking is the off screen buttons, i know its not for everyone but ive been using onscreen buttons since the galaxy nexus (2011) and i prefer them. Very much looking forward to it overall hope the price is competitive.

Those buttons are stuck like that too, the buttons for lollipop are different.

The Moto Maxx has been announced for Brazil. Details are on the Brazilian Motorola site. Looks like the cost will equate to about 700e though! Ouch... Suppose can't be surprised with the specs it carries.

I'm in the same boat. Can't justify that price even though I love the look of the phone. I'm being herded towards a OPO or Moto G!

Think i'll stick with the nexus 4 for now. Not mad on the opo and the g would be pretty much the same phone as what I have now so I think I'll wait and see what next year's releases are. Was that yellow screen issue fixed on the opos?

Take Brazil prices with a pinch if salt, they always have crazy prices.

It's comparable to the Nexus 6 price though so I can't see it dropping too much.

I remember hearing a PS4 cost $1400 on launch in brazil ($400 in US) so I wouldn't worry too much about their prices.

According to google its the most expensive place in the world to buy an iphone too.

Brazil puts HUGE taxes on electrical items and phones , while im not expecting Nexus 5 money i know Brazil prices enough to take them with a pinch of salt in comparison to an international or European price

Would find that very strange as their not exactly wealthy countries.

Would have thought that this would have been aimed at the European market.

Would be a real shame if it doesn't make its way over here in the coming months!

I didn't know that about Brazil so I checked the Verizon price for the Droid Turbo. It is 649 USD without sales tax so €520 + tax. That looks a lot more reasonable! I suppose it's pointless guessing prices. At this stage we don't even have any timeline for a European release.

Someone on the OnePlus forum has come up with an app to remove it but to be honest I haven't followed the OPO until recently so I'm not up to date with all the flaws.

It would be a big gamble on receiver bands though big gamble. Maybe someone else has more detail on it ?

    these are listed as specs,

Im not 100% up to speed with networks in ireland

NETWORK LTE Band 13/4 (700/1700 MHz),
    CDMA/1xEVDO Rev. A (800/1900 MHz);
    Global Network: EDGE/GSM (850/900/1800/1900),
    HSPA/UMTS(850/900/1900/2100)
