    Garage built to wall plate and wanna know what length timbers i need to order for a 35 degree pitched roof angle to ridge board? , measures to outside of blocks is 6metres square will 5x2 14 foot lengths do the job and leave me enough overhang for facia?

    According to my secondary school maths and pithagros' theorom - you need the following equation.
    cos(35) = 3m/Hyp
    .819 = 3/hyp
    hyp = 3/.819
    hyp = 3.66m

    3.66 metres is 12 feet so 14 ft should be enough.

    PS: I wasnt quite sure what you meant by "measures to outside of blocks is 6metres" but i assumed it to be the span of the entire roof - and the 3 above comes from half of that 6.
