    Example.....

€2.00 a line to guess the 1st Scorer in the Scotland vs Ireland game??

    Or.....

    €2.00 a line for a draw for a 42in TV???

    Or.....

€2.00 a line for 2 x Seats at AVIVA for next home Ireland Game???

    etc etc........

So..... does that that type of fundraising need Garda permits????

(This started out as a pub discussion and my 'GAA' mates tell me that YES... these need permits!!! We have done them in past without any such permits!!)

The short answer is the first probably doesnt as there is an element of skill involved. the rest would as they are a game of chance.

Yes. Gaming and Lotteries Act. Just pop into your local station and ask for the form. Takes a minute to fill out.
