The 4th annual Super Valu 5km Road race will take place on Sunday 30th November 2014. Race is chip timed on a AAI approved course.

Category prizes on the day and medals for all finishers. Online registration open on the runireland website and will cost €10 for preregistered and €13 on the day. Tea and refreshments afterwards with presentations in the local Glencarn Hotel which is beside parking, registration and finish line.

    Online entry link: http://www.active.com/castleblayney-comonaghan/running/distance-running-races/castleblayney-5km-supervalu-road-race-2014

Proceeds go to local charities (St Marys patient Care fund, Castleblayney Cancer Society and Castleblayney Faughs Juveniles)

Last year we had over 600 taking part with Paddy Hamilton winning in a time of 15min 19sec.

Any questions, just leave here and I'll do my best to get back to them.

Giving this another plug if people don't mind.

Great interest again this year to date, great number of online entries online over last week.

As an update, Pat Divilly from Galway will be giving the after race Q&A to discuss nutrition, fitness etc. He follows on from Gerry Duffy, Dr Niall Moyna and Catriona McKiernan in prior years.

    Thanks
