    hey,
Has anyone actually heard back about their grant? Or received it? I'm beginning to worry.. I applied in june and still "under final assessment". im a mature student and i earned 39k last year. However, that was under the threshold..
    Help!

    Hi :)
Is this your first application for a grant ? If so, it usually takes a good time for them to asses that.
When I was in first year I applied for a grant in June and got it at the end of December :/.
If you are worried maybe give them a ring but the only thing they probably say to you is that it always takes that long to assess it.

So today is the last day of payment for 1st semester and I still don't know if I have been awarded a grant. Do I pay it anyway?, if so do I get the money back if I am awarded a grant? I'm a 4th Year and it is my first time applying. I understand it will take a while to get assessed but what do I do about my fees in the mean time?

When you registered online in september did you state that you are a SUSI applicant ?
If so don't worry no one will ask you to pay them. I am still waiting for my grant and haven't pay my fees either.
