so a payment was to go into my account on 26th but for some reason bank of Ireland only applied the payment after midnight on 29th and because of this I have been charged returned direct debit fees because the money wasn't applied in time for some direct debits ..

What's even more frustrating is ... The money is now in my account yet when I am trying to pay the bill for the direct debit you returned it's telling me my card is declined , although the money is in my account it won't let me access it ... Please explain !

    Hi Thewife,

    Many thanks for posting.

We don't have account access, so unfortunately cannot look into our query here. If you call Bank of Ireland 365 on 0818 365 365 / +353 1 4044000 a rep will be happy to look into this for you. Representative assisted hours are 8am - 12 midnight Mon - Fri and 9am - 6pm Sat, Sun and Bank/Public Holidays.

    Thanks

    Billy
