    Hi guys, wondering if anyone out there has the following 9 speed parts. Ultegra or Dura Ace:

    * 9 speed cassette, preferably an 11-25 or 12-27
    * 9 speed front mech
    * brakeset (silver).

    Thanks Guys,
    Tony.

    I have two Ultegra 9 speed cassettes - 12-21 and 12-23. Both worn but with some life left.

    I am in south east but can post.

    I really don't know what it's worth!

    Do you want to pm me your address, I'll post it, you can examine it and we'll take it from there. If you don't want it, post back, ok?

    I've some 9 speed dura ace stuff somewhere at home if you can wait til I return on Friday. I'd have to dig it out.

    @ 531 & @fatbloke: thanks guys, I'll wait til friday before deciding if that's ok with everyone.

    Tony.

    I have a dura ace front much, a rear derailleur and 2 cassettes 11:23's.
    All well used but were fully functioning up until they and the bike they were on (Colnago Master Olympic) were retired about 4 years ago.

    What are they worth? That's best answered by the lad who's looking for em :)

    Hmm, is the dura ace front mech bolt on? Ideally i'd like at least 25 or 27 on the back cassette as i'm a bit overweight at the mo :). I have an ultegra rear derailleur but i guess if the condition is good on yours then why not. As for price it depends on how much life is left in em. I wont low ball so whats your best guestimate? It's for a Colnago if it helps any!

    I've never actually known the difference between "braze" or bolt on mechs. How do know what's what (what's "braze" anyway???)

    You bolt a front mech onto the brazed on metal/alloy part of the frame so they are one and the same. As opposed to band on!

    @fatbloke: how much for the front mech and rear mech then?

    If of any interest I have a set of campagnolo daytona brake callipers in silver for 40. They'd look good on that Colnago :)

    I've two 9 speed cassettes as well, though one of them is short a spacer or two. 50 quid for the lot?

    @ Fat Bloke, you'd hardly have the 9 speed shifters for sale too would you?

    For the life of me, I can't find them!! I even went through my boards history to see if I had already sold them and forgotten.

    I'll have another look but....

    Are the cassettes dura ace as well, do you have a rough idea of the gearing?

    Record would look good on it but on a limited budget and have some spare ultegra bits to get it up and running so that's what i'm doing. Sacrilege having shimano on a colnago but these are the times we live in :)

    I'm confused as to who's buying here. Can I accept countrykids offer of asking then. That OK with everyone?

    That would be pretty cool! What would you be asking or would you like tiagra 10 speed in exchange?

    I won't be home until tomorrow evening. I'll check them out. I know that they work, but can't picture the state of the hoods or whether they're scraped or not. A swap for Tiagra 10 speed might work.

    While we are all at it, if any 9 speed rear derailleurs or front derailleurs are left over, let me know.

    @CramCycle: please don't hijack this thread. I am asking for 3 specific items. I have excused the recent to and fro regarding shifters as they are not on my list but front mech and brakes are!!!
