    I got told everything would be sorted around the middle of October but after ringing the local welfare office they don't seem to have a clue whats going on. They can't give me a rough estimate on when everything will be sorted. Can't stay in college much longer if i don't get paid.

    Anyone know anything or heard anything different about the BTEA this year ?

    I went in last week about my application and they'd mistakenly rejected it, said it should be sorted out soon but we'll see when that is:/ Have you tried applying for supplementary welfare allowance?

    That sucks, I wouldn't take the "soon" part too seriously. Haven't tried for supplementary allowance as I'm still getting JSA until I'm switched over, so I doubt I'd be entitled to anything else. Problem is though I'm not getting that much and I'm due to pay a couple hundred for college modules soon.

    I'll be heading in tomorrow to the local office to get some proper answers, sick of the same ****ty responses.
