My sister-in-law was (husbands sister) made homeless this week with her 10 year old daughter, we are going to have her stay with us for a couple of weeks until she can find somewhere more permanently, we both work so not an issue with welfare with us but our son is on the job-bridge scheme until January.
We won't be getting rent or any payment from her and I am wondering if that affects his claim and should he mention it to them?
She is unemployed (in her 50's) and will be telling them she is staying with us indefinitely.

    thanks

I can't see how anyone is affected by this situation. No one is earning any extra money from this arrangement and no one is claiming any rent allowance.

Your sister in law might need some evidence that she is living with you.
