Hey guys, I'm looking into applying for tax back on rent I have been paying. I've been paying rent for the past 2 year and 9 months. Would I be eligible or could someone here she'd some light on it? and maybe what the best route is to getting it.

You are only eligible if you were renting on 7 December 2010

Nothing for hard working and people who pay their way.

It seems sometimes better not to do anything, pay nothing.

My form 11 asks if you were paying rent under A tenancy, not THE tenancy. So if you were renting somewhere on 7th of Dec 2010, anywhere, go ahead and claim.
