Radiator gunk in the toilet

Hi everyone. I recently had a new boiler put in and it appears that some of the water bled from the (ancient) radiators had been poured down the toilets.

The bowls are streaked and filthy and the usual toilet cleaning products don't seem to do it. I've scrubbed like a mad man but it still looks like someone died on the loo. Anyone know what I could use to get this stuff out?

This wont help you much - but i made this mistake in the past. Changing bathroom rad andtipped it into the jax as soon as it came off the wall so it wouldnt spill anywhere else...

Stain Is not fully gone - ive just been using same ordinary toiet bleach etc - its faded a good bit after a year or so but would be interested to know if theres anything to get it clean.

Did you try scrubbing it instead of just pouring chemical onto it?

If you read the post you quoted you'll see I tried scrubbing, it barely helps at all, sadly.

I don't know if this would work but try sone fernox F5 overnight. Pour a kettle of boiling water into the bowl and then half the f5. F5 is used to for cleaning that very sludge in heating systems. But as I stated, I've no idea if it'll work

Pour it on neat, leave it for a few minutes before scrubbing with a toilet brush & the stains will come straight off.

I've used it myself to fix the exact same mistake.
