Very odd, when I click on it I get told it's not available in my country and all write up and reviews are in German. That's only film I click on that does that.8qgsQP.png

For me, it showed up within the actual app itself ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.videos ), as in google Play it said I had yet to purchase it.

Now though, it tells me I've purchased it after I added it to my library.

I'm getting the same as you dozen but the trailer starts playing no bother :-/

I just installed the app , and got Shaun the Sheep " The Big Chase " free , yippie , a whole 7 mins :)

Gravity is going for 9.99 but i'm also getting the German text thingy

Heard about this earlier and got it. Think there are issue in that it's only working for nexus 5 users or something like that.

I got the movie on my Nexus 5 but it wasn't offered on my Nexus 7. After I added it to my library it was then available in my movies on my nexus 7.

Same, checked on galaxy tab earlier... Nothing. Just checked again on nexus 5, added to library.

Not available on my note 3 with german text and showing on my tab s for 9.99. Looks like this offer is device specific and OP should be edited.

It says it is not available in my country. It also has german text like the above user.

Just opened the app on my Nexus 5 and it was there as the "This ones on us" option on the first screen.

Ah, didn't know it was specific to the Nexus 5. Edited the OP anyway :)

i can't think of a film more suited to a nexus 5 sized screen, hopefully its the 3d version.

    Nexus 5 > Gravity

Neat feature, pause film, tells you what track is currently playing in the film's soundtrack at that moment.. and of course, prompts you to purchase it.

Just got Gravity on my Nexus 7, and is showing and playing on my Nexus 4!

I got the option of Gravity instead of Shaun by uninstalling the current version and opening app again using the earlier version - again, on Nexus 7.

Thanks for letting me know, that's a really nice thing! Strange enough it doesn't show up for free in the normal play store but it does in the "Play Movies & TV app". I never even knew I had that one on my phone :)

Perhaps that was the point, getting people to use it.

    Nice one anyway, thanks!

PS: Did you get officially updated to Android 5? I haven't seen it in the updates yet. Also have a Nexus 5 so I'm hoping it will come soon.

Not officially via OTA, just installed the developer preview as soon as I got my Nexus 5 on Friday :)

Ah yes I could do the same, I just thought I'd wait for the official one, I was hoping it was out already, thanks!

Congratulations on your purchase of the N5! I've had mine for a year now (got it the week it was released) and it still works perfectly. The screen is still gorgeous, there's no scratches anywhere despite several drops and it's still as fast as when I bought it. The often-mentioned battery problems are a bit overblown, it easily lasts a day for me even though I'm a heavy user (*)

(*): Once in a while it does suck the battery down like mad but a reboot fixes that. Probably some background process failing to go to sleep.

Nice one OP, I have it on BR but that's pretty cool nonetheless, great movie.

Just checked there on my nexus 7 again and this time it offered Gravity.
