Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2G SIM for Motorhome GPS/GPRS Tracker

    Hi

    I was thinking of buying a tracker for my campervan on eBay

    My van is an old one so don't want to spend too much on it. This seems just about right. However, downside is that it takes only a 2G SIM card. Are these still available here in Ireland and where would I get one.

    The 2G network was shutdown years ago

    2G or GPRS was not shut down,

    the requirements just means any normal sim that can send and receive Text messages.

    Any sim from any provider that has GSM capabilities will do, you just dont have to use the data part of it (GPRS / 3G)

    Pay as you go sim would work, just need to check what size sim the device takes.

    Simple stuff.
