    Hi very new to cycling and after 45 kms my bum hurts like hell and tip or advice would be great i done a handy one fri done 15 km and all is ok but its just the longer spins

    It will get better eventually, but here are some tips for you:

    Be sure to use quality padded shorts, it makes massive difference. ( assos,or similar)
    Make sure your saddle is adjusted properly, height,angle,etc
    Use chamois cream
    While cycling get up off the seat every so often and get some blood circulating around the seating area.

    Thats pretty much all, get some rest now until the pain eases off, but everybody goes trough the same pain initially until you get used to it.
