Passport is needed for checking in online .
But you also need it when boarding

If your details weren't recorded online it can be done manually at the airport check in desks by a member of staff, or can also be done at the boarding gate by a member of staff.

What do you mean by "passport control"

Any time I've booked Ryanair flights, you just book the thing, and then when you go to do online check-in you won't be able to complete it without your passport number/details.

    What other options are there???

I think you'll have to clarify what you mean by 'passport control'.

OP. Months ago when you bought the tickets you weren't asked to enter your passport details.

Just try to check in. If it asks you for passport details then just enter them. If it doesn't then it doesn't and continue to print the boarding pass.

'Documents added' usually means you have already entered the details.
