Samsung Galaxy S2- 4g ready?

    I have an SII for a couple of years now on vodafone 24 month contract that is finished in November 2014. I an happy enough with the phone in general, and it does what I need most of the time. I don't want to go into another 24 month contract just for the sake of getting a new phone, so I was thinking of a 4g SIM only plan- 30 day contract type. Firstly does anyone know if the SII is 4 g ready, and if so what it the best option for SIM only, many thanks for any advice, in advance.
    Incidentally, software version is 4.1.2,model GT-I1900.

    There's no 4G on the S2.
