Great app for bird photography

    Not sure if this goes here, but many will like it. I discovered an app called dslr controller that basically let you use your smartphone as viewfinder and remote to set your camera.

    I use it on android with a Canon dslr but other combinations are supported.

    The developer even created a custome firmware that let you connect a small router to your no wifi camera and effectively make it wifi.

    I tested the whole thing today and it works really well. Now just waiting for a bird to show up at the feeders and see the results.

    had a quick google ot it. looks very decent. was looking to buy a remote cable for taking longer exposed shots. this does it.

    Yes, it is not free. Plus the router, that costed me eur 28 in Harvey Norman.
