    Intel Core i7-4790K Box, LGA1150 318
    8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9 66.33
    Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Intel/AMD 29.45
    Corsair CS Series Modular CS850M 850W ATX 2.4 120.83
    WD Blue 1TB 6Gb's 50.87
    Samsung SSD 840 EVO Basic 250GB SATA 6Gb/s 109.99
    ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer, Sockel 1150, ATX 122.84
Corsair Carbide Air540, ATX, ohne Netzteil 122.90
    2 * Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, 4GB GDDR5 719.80

Altogether comes to 1661 euro without giehzels yet.

Now what I need is a 1440P screen. Can anyone recommend the best Qnix one from ebay or else maybe a 4K screen if I add another 970 and up the power supply. Budget is pretty much unlimited.

    Thanks.

If the budget is flexible it might be worthwhile getting an x99 mobo/cpu/ddr4 instead of the i7-4790K.
    i7 5820K @€;352.35
    MSI x99 PLUS @€;188.18
    8GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 @€;102.34.

That's an extra ~€130 onto the build cost, but the i7 5280K has 6 cores(12 threads) instead of 4, almost twice as much cache, and seeing as it looks like this is going to be for SLI the 5820K has 28 PCI lanes instead of 16 on the i7 4790K. That would allow two one of the two cards to run with full 16x PCI lanes and a second on 8x, or if you were to use 3 cards all three could run at 8x. That might actually work out well with the fast 970 cards. On the other hand the 4790K is clocked at 4Ghz compared to the 5280K at 3.3Ghz

If the budget truly is unlimited you could get an i7 5930K (6 cores/12 threads, 40 PCI lanes, 3.50Ghz) @€;540 or an i7 5960X (8 cores/16 threads, 40 PCI lanes, 3Ghz) @€;950. Now I really don't see any real need or justification for €950 on a 16 thread i7, but if you have the money and want it its hardly going to disappoint and it wouldn't need replacing for a very long time. The one advantage I would see from these two more expensive cards would be running two 970's in 16x and another in 8x if you did get three.

Just thought I'd put it out there if the thing will be used for SLI anyway... There might not be any real reason to swap up the cpu given the performance you'll get from a 4790K anyway
