    Hi looking for advice

Currently on loan parents for 2 years.
    I am receiving rent allowance.
I have just got my self a part time job working 15 hours which I'm delighted with.
Could anyone please tell me how much of my rent allowance would I loose aswell as loan parent payment I'd lose. I'm on 217 loan parents and my wage from work would be 129.75.
I start on Monday and have signed a contract. And am now panicking as I'm afraid il loose 2 much of my rent allowance and after I pay tax iv no idea how much il actually earn. My rent is very high and I have to cover most as landlord put rent yp and even tho I told social welfare they said I'm not entitled to any.more so just hqve to make up the rest.my self ( rent went up.3 months ago, told them then.) so now if I loose alot of rent allowance I'm afraid il end yp really struggling even with work. I
I don't want to be sitting on my arse and really want to earn my own money but the fear of most been cut is worrying to the point of will it be worth it.
Iv read citizens advice and social welfare and don't understand it. So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well, on that income you will not pay any income tax. You biggest deduction will be the universal social charge. You will likely have some cut in the rent allowance, but at least you will be working and there's a lot to be said for that alone. at the very least you will have some social interaction. How old is you child and are there child-minding expenses to be met while you are at work?

For your One Parent Payment, the first 90 euros of your working wage wont be cut which means from the 90 up to what you earn which is 129 is 39 euros. The social welfare half that which is just under 20euros. So your new One Parent payment will be 198 per week instead of the 217.. This happened to me in August so I ended up leaving the job wasn't worth my while as I'm also back in college. I'm not too sure how it affects your rent allowance though...
