Can't understand decision??

Just saw jhon joe mcdonagh v. moriarty on tg4, in some Irish comp. And can't for the life of me understand the decision to mcdonagh? Moriarty was always comming forward and landed more and substantial punches. mcdonagh as far as I could see did feck all. I'm a neutral by the way.
