Can a cadence sensor be added to this and do you have any idea why the HR strap isn't working?

You can add a cadence sensor alright. It's compatible with the Polar WIND cadence sensor.

I'm not sure what happened to the HR strap. It was working when I was using the computer regularly. It was then lying idle for about a year and I thought it just needed a new battery. However new battery hasn't brought it to life.

Thanks, I'll need to do a bit of research and see if it can sorted and whatnot.
