    Hope someone here can help.

I am looking for a book of photographs of modern Ireland. I don't need text as it is a gift for someone who does not speak English, I would just like to be able to present a book which reflects what Ireland it like.

I think there was a book assembled a few years ago by a selection of different photographers, but I can't recall it's name.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks

Think you are probably thinking of the "Us" book by Today FM/Ray D'Arcy. That was a few years ago now.

I reckon it was the US book, reckon there are none of those left then? Very difficult to Google US and all things american keep popping up!! Don't suppose anyone knows if I can still get a copy?

Thanks for the link to the Magnum book but I think it maybe abit old fashioned.....just when I see the bog cutters on the front, modern is not the first thing that springs to mind!!

Looking for a typical "now" representation of Ireland to give to someone who is not likely to visit but would like an idea of what the country is like.

    Any other recommendations?

It's modern Irish photography though, not necessarily photography of Ireland.

Ireland by Gill Davies. not sure if it's still available. And some of the images are heavily over processed.
