Recruitment agency query

Hi all, just wondering whats the norm when you want to give your CV to a recruitment agency?? Do you have to go to meet them or can you just e mail them? (Im not stupid, i swear :-D. Ive been in the same job for 10 years at different levels so I have no idea how this works because ive never had to use one)

Email them, most I've been in contact don't want physical cvs. I always follow up with a phone call a few days later to make sure it got through.
