Has to be lightweight (~3.5kg), long wheelbase, equipped in brake and pneumatic wheels.

Good price at the moment if you're looking for a for a girls bike. The blue is £8 more. My daughter has one since her second birthday and was flying around on it within a week. Nearly 5 now she still uses it but is nearly to tall for it (She is very tall for age though). She should be well able to cycle a normal bike but refuses to pedal.

Doesn't have pneumatic tyres but I've never found it an issue. They do a dearer version with pneumatic tyres. I found it very good it's light and a lot cheaper than some other brands.

Thanks, I'll take a look at the available versions. I am afraid my wife will not accept any of the colours though :)

Tell me about it my wife is using her bike to work and I don't think anything but a celeste Bianchi will do even if it means getting 8 speed claris when I could get a cube or giant for the same money with 11 speed 105!

We have used the decathlon run ride for over a year now.
    I would highly recommend it.
its 3.5kg but doesnt have pneumatic wheels.
Back brake works well when prompted to pull it.
Decathlon in Belfast have it and they will deliver to Ireland, you just need to give them a call.

I guess she'll be happier with "her" colour than the extra 3 gears. Contrary to most of us. :D
