I was lost in France (on the way from the south to Cherbourg - a trip of 1,000 km.) and I missed my ferry so I went the slow way to Cherbourg and ended in Le Mans. I would love to see the race someday. My brother and I wanted to see the track but it closed at lunchtime! Just as we were arriving at the track a line of Porsches was leaving. I think they are used by a driving school on the track!

If you know you're way around Le Mans you can drive without any hassle and legally all the way from the exit of Tetra Rouge to the start of the Porch curves.
