No strong views either way. Review chimes with other recent print reviews that pointed that the car is more comfortable and refined than its predecessors but that this might gave been achieved at the expense of the handling, which is not at sharp as it used to be.

With the new Passat being launched at the same time, I suppose that some motoring journalists will reserve final judgement on both cars until they test them side by side on UK roads - press launch test drives in Spain are not a reliable indicator and motoring journalists are quick to admit that.
